Ordering, Delivery and Returns.
1. OrderingWhen placing an order, it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that all details conveyed in the order are correct and true. GEMMISSIMA does not accept liability for products sent with errors made by the ordering party. Due to the customised nature of the products and services offered by GEMMISSIMA, full payment must be received for all orders before any goods are dispatched. In the case of specially ordered products, half payment of the order must be received before a mock-up of such products is generated. 2. Delivery and Handling ChargesGEMMISSIMA delivers world wide via Australia Post. All delivery and handling charges are payable by the purchaser and are additional to the listed price of each product on this web-site. Should the delivery charges in anyway be unclear or not understood, you should contact sales@gemmissima.com.au with your query. 3. Estimated Delivery Time:Orders are dispatched from GEMMISSIMA's studio in New South Wales, Australia. Orders being sent within Australia should be delivered within 1-2 weeks of receipt of order, payment and advice of correct information relating to the products required. If it is expected that the delivery time will be longer than this, the purchaser will be advised and may cancel the order if the delivery time is too long. Delivery time may also be affected by the size or complexity of your order, the delivery location and our current workload. An estimate for job completion and delivery can be requested before or after making an order. Orders being sent outside Australia should be delivered within 2-4 weeks of receipt of order. GEMMISSIMA relies on Australia Post for delivery and is not responsible for any delays occurring which are beyond its control. 4. Method of Delivery:By default, all orders within Australia are sent via Regular Post and customers must advise if they require their products to be (A) insured (B) sent via Registered Post (C) sent via Express Post (D) some other method. A revised quote for delivery will be issued if either (A), (B), (C) or (D) is nominated for delivery. By default, all orders outside Australia are sent via Air Mail and customers must advise if they require their products to be (A) insured (B) sent via Registered Post (C) sent via Regular Air Mail (D) some other method. A revised quote for delivery will be issued if either (A), (B), (C) or (D) is nominated for delivery. 5. Policy for Returning Items:5.1 A request for a refund because the purchaser has changed his/her mind will not approved. 5.2 A request for an exchange for a different product either of the same or greater value will be considered if the purchaser agrees to pay the postage both for the return of the original product and the postage of the exchange product together with any difference in price. The total amount of this and the original product must be received before the exchange product can be despatched. 5.3 If a product is damaged in transit and can be repaired, GEMMISSIMA will repair the product free of change if the necessary components are available and if the purchaser pays for the return postage. GEMMISSIMA will pay for the postage to the purchaser after the goods have been repaired. If the product cannot be repaired because the necessary components are not available, the purchaser can
5.4 If a product has a manufacturing fault or defect and cannot be repaired, or the purchaser does not wish to exchange it for a product of the same or greater value, a refund of the purchase price (but not any original postage charges incurred) will be made. 5.5 As each GEMMISSIMA product is individually hand-crafted and unique, it is not possible to replace a defective item with another of the same nature.
Repair of Goods
If goods purchased from GEMMISSIMA at some stage require repair due to general wear and tear, the purchaser should contact sales@gemmissima.com.au as repairs can be organised for a reasonable charge (but will not pay for any postage charges).
Return of Products for Repair, Exchange or Refund
Products being returned due to any circumstances detailed in Section 5 Policy for Returning Items (above) must be returned to GEMMISSIMA within (14) fourteen days of the purchase date to be eligible for repair, exchange or refund. International customers will be granted an extension at the discretion of the GEMMISSIMA management.
How to Return your product:
1. Contact GEMMISSIMA at sales@gemmissima.com.au Your request will be evaluated, all necessary product return information will be recorded and a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) will be issued. You will also be provided with address details of where to send your return. You should not send your item without an "RAN".2. Send your item to the return address provided with your RAN clearly displayed on and inside the return packaging. 3. The replacement product (in the case of exchange) or the repaired item (in the case of a damaged product) will be returned within 7-10 working days. 4. A refund for a defective product which cannot be repaired will be forwarded within 7-10 working days. NOTE WELL:
